BROOKRIDGE --
The boil water notice has been rescinded for Brookridge residents in Hernando County.
The warning was issued Monday after E. coli was found in a well sample collected last week. The well was taken off service and officials began disinfecting the system.
The well served the Brookridge community of Hernando County.
On Tuesday, officials announced that the well had tested negative for E. coli.
